Vegas Hotel Manager or VegasMan

Guys,

I need some advise.

A little while back I signed with MGM%26#39;s Player club online and recently got a promotion email. Using the prmo code provided I booked my stay with them online. Yesterday someone posted another promo code that was sent to him from playerclub of MGM with great deals. I went online and using that promo code booked another room for the same dates and got an even better. So I am going to go ahead and cancel my first booking and use my last booking for my stay.

My Q is can I do that as the code is not directly sent to me even though it is for use by Playerclub members. Do they track what offers they sent to the members? I think they send better offers to better memebers? but if you know the code what is to stop from using it and booking a good deal?

Thanks for any insight!

I would think, if all you entered was the promo code you may or may not be given that special rate when you check in. But if you also entered your players card number and they accepted that, you should be good to go. We%26#39;ll see what VHM has to say as that is his area of expertise.

I booked the 2nd room with new promo code from the playerclub website although when you ask to book the room it kicks you what seems a standard booking area. You also have to provide all your information I would think it would know from my account... anyway it does not ask for member info but does give the low rate associated with the promo

Sounds to me like you%26#39;re qualified for the lower rate then.

Promo codes are linked to the individual based on thier play points - and the level they have attained. Station Casinos I think has the best program in showing the differnent levels - each color coded to the level of play (amount of $$) you have had in a set amount of time.

If you use the promo code, if we have any concerns or questions about - at check-in be expecting to verify your player card info.

Yesterday as an example a man checked into my hotel using a special promo code which provided him 90% off of his stay. When he checked in, it was found that he had used a promo code not issued to him. Of course we did not honor the reservation at the rate he had booked. And because of his attitude and demand to use the promotion - he lost his player card priveleges and had to pay full rate for the room -
