Some of you are talking about these great room rates, some are quoting under $100. Where are you getting these rates. I%26#39;ve checked many internet sites, called hotels directly, and still are quoted over $200/night for places like the Monte Carlo and Flamingo. We%26#39;re looking for 5 nights the middle of April. (I know it%26#39;s kind of close, but not next week.)
WHERE are you getting those great rates?
Hotels.com, Expedia.com Travelocity.com All buy blocks of rooms at a greatly discounted rate and then sell them to the public at a slightly reduced rate. Go to a few casinos websites, join their players club online and you might receive some e-mail offers.

Are you going the week of the 17th? It seems like all the rates are higher that week...there must be a convention or something in town. I%26#39;m going the week of the 10th and the rates are much less that week (I got a $59 a night deal at MGM through their player%26#39;s club).
Paris web site has April 10-15th for 139.00 per night for 3 of the nights, 149.00 for 1 of the nights and 109.00 for the other night.
bobby765...We are going the 14th to the 19th. The beginning of school vacation around here. I guess that%26#39;s the problem. Thanks for the advice about the players club.
Broadcaster%26#39;s convention 4/18 - 4/21: 135,000 attendees. they%26#39;re gonna suck up rooms both before/after those dates as well.
Without a doubt, the very best innovation EVER for Vegas vacationers and budget travellers is the RATE CALENDAR that virtually every hotel website offers
Bookmark a few of these and plan ahead and you%26#39;ll never get scalped because you inadvertantly planned a vacation at the same time major conventions, holidays, or gambling events are driving room rates through the roof.
bobby765,
can u email the promo code?
iafzal3@yahoo.com
Thanks
The promo code is SLM024. They will ask for your player%26#39;s club card and/or number when checking in if you use this code. If you%26#39;re not a member, you can join for free at www.playersclub.com
April is a pretty busy month for us. The first week of April, we have MOPAR on the Strip. Week of the 14th we have NHRA races and convention. Week of the 20th - an even bigger convention. So rates in and around the strip will be somewhat high. At this time we are not lowering rates for the period indicated we are raising them - my revenue managers job is to watch event date, convention dates and even air travel forecasts. Then as he see%26#39;s spikes in occupancy, rates are immediately changed to reflect occupancy forecasts. Another case of supply and demand.
