The best (lowest) roundtrip air price have you scored????

I took my mother to Las Vegas last month and paid $155 roundtrip (per person of course) on Delta Airlines from Greenville/Spartanburg to Las Vegas. I live in Ft. Lauderdale and to fly home to Charlotte has always cost me more. The reason that I got this fare was that a new airline, Independence Air, had started up in many of the airports in both North and South Carolina. Of course, the other major airlines matched and I was able to grab two tickets for a grand total of $310.00. I spent more on the hotel!!!! Anyway, I wanted to know if anyone had any similar success stories. I know that the folks in L.A. or other spots on the West Coast can grab some cheaper deals, but for a trip from the West Coast, I don%26#39;t think it could have been any cheaper.

HEY ME TOO ! I was able to snag one last year for about $160 from Atlanta to Las Vegas DIRECT on Delta. Too bad Delta is going bankrupt.

Northwest is advertising a price for the next 10 months for $154 from ATL to Minneapolis to LAS roundtrip. I haven%26#39;t decided on that one yet. I don%26#39;t really like to transfer.

Thankfully, Airtran is still pretty reasonable at just under $200.

Hopefully, Hooters Air will fly roundtrip direct once San Remo is remodeled. The corporate office is here in Atlanta.

Being from CA, flights to and from LV are pretty cheap. The lowest I%26#39;ve paid is $29 each way on Southwest. I hate Southwest though.

Denver to Orlando on Delta $99 r/t

Las Vegas to Orlando on Southwest $110 r/t

Free, I just use my frequent flier miles.

$120 per person to Vegas from Dallas (an ';expensive'; airport because of American%26#39;s dominance) earlier this month ($79 R/T before taxes) on Frontier.

Like dereckbc, free is my favorite. This trip I have 2 vouchers from 1-2-3 Free promotions last year - downside is I have to use them on light travel days so we go Wednesday, return Tuesday.

Taking the advice of Jean Scott (The Frugal Gambler) we have booked many trips to Vegas on the early fight of the day. Get to the airport extrememely early and be the first one at the counter to just smile at the gate agent and suggest that if they need volunteers, we will take a later flight.

NWA has 4-6 a day to Vegas and the most we have had to wait is 3 hours extra. Not a bad inconvenience if you get 2 free trips out of it for next time. We have been fortunate to get bumped 3 times in the past (not all to Vegas).

Just got back from Vegas actually and I ended up getting RT airfare from Minneapolis for 180 bucks on Northwest. The price was closer to 230 but looked a couple of hours later and it dropped to 180 so I can%26#39;t complain too much.

$96 RT on Southwest

$49.00 Each Way to and from; OKC - Allegiant Air
