Which restaurant in Vegas would YOU choose to hold a wedding reception for 20-25 people?
A simple question about restaurants in VegasPrime Rib loft at the Orleans. $25 per person for the meals there. Nice atmosphere, great food. You can get a group of table that overlook the casino floor, if you request that when making your reservation. 1-800 675-3267
A simple question about restaurants in VegasWell, it all depends on your budget. If money is no object, I would choose Bradley Ogden at Caesar%26#39;s Palace, hands down. With a limited budget, try Canaletto at Venetian. They have an upstairs private area that is nice for private parties.
thanks guys
mmmmmmmm ribs
Its funny, I%26#39;ve posted a few questions about restaurants/bars in Vegas and people always recommend places that are part of the big casino/hotel complexes.
Aren%26#39;t there any decent privately-run places in Vegas?
A good friend of mine lives in Henderson Nevada and she is a food critic. When I was there in January, I asked her the same question about restaurants ';off the strip';. Apparently, there aren%26#39;t very many good ones! She took me to Prime at Bellagio, Nob Hill at MGM Grand and some place at the Four Seasons (not the steakhouse, the place next door to it). All were excellent. The Four Seasons would probably do an outstanding job with a wedding reception. I was very impressed with their service and the food was great. Good luck.
thanks Sweetpea, just looked at the four seasons website and it looks good, reckon I%26#39;ll be investigating that one further....
(PS I wish I was friends with a food critic)
Jimmy Moonlight - If you come across any other places you want me to run past my friend out there - just let me know! She will be brutally honest! A wedding reception is a pretty important event. You want it to be perfect.
There are several family and smaller chain restuarants here in Vegas. We just don%26#39;t want the tourists finding out about them. And the ones on the Strip are easier for you to find. We don%26#39;t want you getting lost.
My prices for the Prime Rib Loft were overestimated. Dinner for 4 last night and everyone had some food left on their plate when done eating was $72. $25 per person and you call all have a drink and dessert.
Carabba%26#39;s, Macaroni Grille or Nana B%26#39;s Trattoria all have fun atmosphere%26#39;s and would be a good place for an Italian Style wedding reception.
VM is right, locals do not want tourist to leave the strip, but contrary to sweetpeas comment, there are some very good places off-strip. Unfortunately we have already let out the word on Rosemary%26#39;s and CC Steakhouse:%26gt;)
Prime Rib Loft in Orleans is good and reasonable priced, but like Lawry%26#39;s the menu is limited to only prime rib.
If Itallian is your thing, the two best in my oppinion are Copozzolis @ 3333 S Maryland Pkwy, and Ventanno Itallian Corner in Henderson. Both are far less expensive and better food than on the strip.
Andres downtown or MC is the best French restaurants in town, but somewhat pricey.
What kind of food did you have in mind?
To be honest, I dont really mind what type of food it is, so long as it%26#39;s decent quality and there%26#39;s a nice relaxed atmosphere for me, the new mrs Moonlight and our guests to get nicely toasted in!
