How easy is it to walk from Ballys to Ellis island. Can this be done safely at night?

Take Flamingo to Koval, cross to the other side of Koval at the corner, turn right and Ellis Island is in the middle of the Block. You should be safe, but take a $4 cab ride if you%26#39;re really worried about your safety. They have low limit gambling and GREAT food in the restaurant.
I walked to Ellis Island earlier this week, and felt safe. I%26#39;m not sure I%26#39;d do it at midnight though. I went in the early evening. I just walked out the side entrance of Ballys, turned right and walked to the light at Koval and pushed the walk button. Then you have to cross the street and walk past a gas station and Ellis Island was beside it. It%26#39;s an easy walk and the food was WONDERFUL, and cheap. I had the prime rib, baked potato, salad and green beans for only $7.95. Also included with dinner is a glass of homemade rootbeer (very good) or beer that they make there (my husband liked it). The only weird thing was that rolls weren%26#39;t included, but I%26#39;d rather eat prime rib anyway. THe atmoshere isn%26#39;t too great either, but the service was good, and it was clean. I also recommend the Cheesecake Factory in the Forum Shops at Caesars.
