Cab fare question

Hello,

I%26#39;ve been lurking and reading the forum for a few weeks. It is very helpful. My sister and I will be in vegas from march 21-25

We are first timers should be interesting. We Are going to see Celine Dion. My question is how much approx would cab fare be from MGM to Ceasers since we are going to have to do that twice, We are planning on going to PURE on tuesday night.

$3.85 - $7.15 depending on traffic. Make sure your driver does NOT take the tunnel. Seriously, it%26#39;s a 1 mile ride, but if you%26#39;re out when the traffic is not moving on the Strip it can be a $10 ride. As cabs charge by both time and distance.

Thanks for your response vegasman.to the other responses, I guess we must be lazy lol. A mile seems far to me especially after walking all day visiting the diferent hotels on the strip. Is that week a busy week or something, hard to get a cab or what. Like i said it%26#39;s our first time so we don%26#39;t know what to expect plus we live in a small rural town so it%26#39;s gonna be quite different for us.

About pure were going to make arrangements to be on the listto get in.

Just wondering if we don%26#39;t reserve and pay for a table will we be standing at the bar all night.

unless it%26#39;s raining, I would walk. we just got back and it was alot of walking but with traffic it is often faster and of course cheaper (and better for you) The walk goes by fast with so much to look at.

All of you who are posting to just walk must be men..dont you realize uswomen have to wear our cute shoes and do our hair-who wants to get all dressed up to go out and then walk a mile before that and get all sweaty and messy! No way-get a cab and suck it up-you%26#39;re on vacation! Especially from MGM to Caesars!! that%26#39;ll take forever especially in heels!!! ;) blister city...

You could take the monorail from MGM to Bally%26#39;s and cross the street to Ceasers as well.

You can take the monorail from the MGM to the Flamingo/Caesar%26#39;s Palace station. You will walk through Flamingo and there is a bridge over LV Blvd to Caesars. The monorail is $3 per person, so with two of you going you might be better off taking a cab. The monorail is at the back of the hotels, so there is still quite a but of walking anyway...

thanks to all for your responses. ibgamblinqueen true i don%26#39;t feel like walking a mile in heels and all dressed up. We will definatly be taking a cab to avoid blisters lol.

again is the week of march 21-25 a busy week in vegas or something? So nobody%26#39;s been to PURE? I%26#39;d love to hear from

someone who%26#39;s been there. Was it a good experience?
