That%26#39;s a pretty good deal right? I know the chances of getting an upgrade are kind of low because I am booking it through an agent instead of directly through the hotel, but the hotel want $120 per night for 5 nights which is $600. And then the cheapest airfare I can get for 2 people is $455. So that would come out to over $1000 just in the hopes of getting an unpgrade which might not happen.
Is August a slow time of year? I%26#39;ve never been to Vegas. Is an upgrade possible during this time of the year? Will there be a charge for an upgrade? This isn%26#39;t really a big issue, I just hear from others about upgrades and it sounded intriguing.
Anyway, what do you think of the original deal?
Expedia: 2 people @ NYNY from 7/31-8/5 %26amp; RT Airfare...
Maiden... We%26#39;re planning a trip to Vegas from 7-29 to 8-4. We thought that Expedia had pretty good deals for that period too!
We were quoted fri, sat sun nites only at the Golden Nugget, 2 rnd trip flts from St Louis and 6 days rental cars for 842.00 for both of us. and same nights at Mirage for 1020. Seems like some good prices. Seems odd though that same stay at Harrahs is about 1400 go figure.
We haven%26#39;t even seen air fare from st louis on AA for less than 620.
We%26#39;ve booked our hotel rooms already directly. We like to stay 3nights downtown and then 3 at Mandalay Bay. We%26#39;re just hoping that Southwest comes through with a great airfare deal before Expedia changes their prices.
By the way.... does anybody know how often Expedia does change their prices and if you can work anything out with them if prices do go up?
Karen
