Need some help again! My mom is coming with us now and I need advice about this place. It seems nice on the website. My choices are the Orleans and Excalibur. I am hoping to split the vaction between these two. Now that mom is coming I think we need a bigger place. Any advice please anyone?? Thanks!!! There will be 3 adults and 2 kids.
Westgate Flamingo Bay - anyone stay hereFlamingo BAy is an apartment complex changed to a time share - it%26#39;s a couple of miles from the strip. The apartments are nicely furnished with everything you would expect or would have at home.
If you are wanting a Las Vegas strip style hotel - this is not the place. If you want a place you can be away from the wild life of the strip - this is the place. A good thing is that it has a full kitchen so you can save $$ on food.
Housekeeping is not daily - but you can request it, but that will be an extra charge.
The pool area is nice and great if you have children and don%26#39;t want to lose track of them.
Westgate Flamingo Bay - anyone stay hereGeorge and Joanna are staying there. They say it is very nice. Their one complaint is that there is nowhere other than at the pool where you can buy a drink. No vending machines on the property. I%26#39;m sure they will leave a complete review when they return home.
hi v/m have u heard from them. going myself there in september.
Tripper,
Yes, I have seen George and Joanna 4 times since they arrived. They came by to see me at the Stardust twice. And we met to play Craps and have dinner together at the Orleans on Wednesday. They are both loving theur stay here in Vegas and George has done quite well for himself at the Roulette tables.
Mari,
Most hotel rooms will not have enough room for a group that size and diverse. A Timeshare/condo rental would be best. Unless you want to pay for 2 rooms at a hotel.
