Trip Report- March 7-11

Hi everyone... I just came back from my spring break trip. I stayed at the Imperial Palace, their spa was good, their casino was very live, they had a lot of free and cheap entertainment. Their goods of this hotel ends there. I reviewed hotel in the other section, if you are still deciding about this hotel. I went to Barbary Coast and viewed their rooms. They are HUGE. Much better than the crap at IP, I wished I didn%26#39;t change hotels. Oh well that%26#39;s over now...Anyway, while in Vegas I developed my good and bad list. (top five)

Bad

------

1) flamingo buffet (got food poisoned)

2) cocktail service at IP

3) the smell at the Boardwalk%26#39;s casino

4) nightlife at Bellagio

5) The amount of walking was unbelieveable, my feet were swollen every night and I consider myself very active and healthy, yet I was so not prepared.

Good

------

1) The amount of free stuff available ie.. funbooks (great for broke college students)

2) casino cocktail svc (casino royale, harrahs, paris)

3) Nightlife (coyote ugly, studio 54, carvinal court, tequilla%26#39;s joe)

4) shopping (forum shops, desert passage, showcase and fashion show malls)

5) sight seeing ( viewing these wonderful hotels in person is so much different than pictures)

PS....the locals and cab drivers in Vegas have permanently won my worst driving award!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you think it was there food that made you sick. Go online and look up food poisoning. Unless the food was rotten, it does not make you sick instantly. It takes 4-8 hours to get into your system. If you were sick right away. You most likely were already ill before going to the buffet and you didn%26#39;t realize it.

Casino Royale gives you $50 in free slot play. From them you can also get 2 for 1 margaritas and some kind of match play in blackjack. Casino royale%26#39;s margaritas and Michelobs are all one dollar.

Harrahs/Rio gives you some money off in their buffets (which were good), a free shirt, a free ticket to 2 comedy shows and some more...

IP, I got free admission to the Auto Collection, $3 off their Legends show (which I thought was good), 2 free breakfast/lunch buffets. ( the buffet isn%26#39;t that good however, it%26#39;s worth visiting for free), one day fitness facilities pass.

Aladdin gives you a free mug....very cute.

****the only thing you have to do is sign up for their players club. With the IP, you have to ask.

PS.... Joe, I wasn%26#39;t the only one in the bathroom barfing. Out of the five of us, three got sick. I don%26#39;t eat beef or pork so the only thing I ate was there salad and seafood. And I hadn%26#39;t eaten anything else that day.

*** I saw at least ten cab drivers jump the curb during my stay.
