I arrive on the 16th and I heard that on the 17th downtown freemont street is having live music. I also heard that Nine Fine Irishman at NY NY is a crazy time.

Of course, it is also the first day of March Madness and I love basketball so I might find myself planted at a sports book all day. i was thinking about going to the ESPN Zone at NY NY and go back and forth to the Nine Fine Irishman...

wow kmeek - nice itinerary! I will be in on the 17th (my girls won%26#39;t be in until that evening) and thinking about checking out ESPN Zone to monitor the games - depends on how packed it is....

Is there a big Patty%26#39;s day celeb?

Although downtown is not my favorite spot it is on St. Patrick%26#39;s day. When I was there, which is a couple years back, they had a parade, outside live music and cheap drinks. Plenty of roaming room which I don%26#39;t think you%26#39;ll find at NYNY. You have the best of two worlds. A good party and small casinos you can go in/out of, to watch the games.
