I just got back and am already planning my second trip to Vegas. I went with a group of 5, this time and I wanted to go alone this summer. Is coming to Vegas alone a good idea? What would be an appropriate amount of time to stay?
Return trip planningHello,
I stayed 5 days in vegas a week ago. I was all by myself. I didn%26#39;t regret it that i was alone. But sometimes you get to meet some nice people.
I must say that 5 days were appropriate for me. I saw what i wanted to see :)
greetz,
Yves
Return trip planningI just returned and, like Yves, just me for 5 days.
I like the idea of being able to do just as I please, no one notices you unless you want them to. I stayed 3 nites at Paris, 2 nites at Luxor. I like both and would suggest you stay somewhere different so as to be convenient to things you missed first time. Tram ride is very helpful to get around.
Thanks, guys! I will probably go back this summer alone. Trying to find a good rate at another hotel.
i would say 3-4 days.
maybe look into staying off strip and renting car to see many areas that you did not see on last trip,
and if there is show that you want to see just go there is always singles at shows
Is it uncomfortable to go to the shows by yourself? I, too, have thought about going to Vegas alone but was nervous about it.
Renossiter, Anything goes in Vegas! Thats one of my favourite things about the city. Everybody is on holiday, and those working are working to make sure you have a great vacation. I%26#39;m sure you wouldn%26#39;t feel uncomfortable, just go and enjoy:)
I think that part of going alone is that you need to be outgoing. Go to a lounge or bar or club or whatever and strike up a comversation with everyone. If you go being shy and feel strange about being alone, it won%26#39;t be much fun. If you are female the next thing I would say is be careful and don%26#39;t get yourself in a situation that you couldn%26#39;t extracate yourself from. Stay in areas with lots of people. Some times the toughest part is just starting a comversation.
Thanks for the information. I%26#39;ll have to try it.
