Flamingo or Monte Carlo

I am going to Vegas in late August and have narrowed our choice to either the Flamingo or Monte Carlo. I was wondering if anyone could let me know which pool is less busy? Also which hotel will have less kids running around? I have stayed at Monte Carlo before and their pool area was great but from reviews of the Flamingo%26#39;s pool it also sounds great.

Thanks!!!

Flamingo or Monte Carlo

i have stayed at both hotels %26amp; enjoyed them both. the flamingo pool really didn%26#39;t have a lot of kids, its was more of a fun party atmosphere. i didn%26#39;t find it difficult to find a chair, but it was a bit busy........all of the hotel pools will be at that time of year, no matter where you stay. the monte carlo had a bit more kids, due to the lazy river. personally i liked the rooms at the monte carlo better, newer hotel......but the flamingo is in a better location, just older rooms, but not horrible by any means. i%26#39;ve also stayed at the luxor %26amp; they have an awesome pool.........its huge %26amp; hardly any kids at all. a bonus that i found, was that it has very few palm trees. so if your looking for sun, you won%26#39;t have to worry about shade!!! tons of chairs %26amp; no matter what time you head out, your sure to get a chair.

If you are looking for ';less busy'; then you may want to consider The RIO. When I was there, I couldn%26#39;t believe how spacious and UN-crowded the pool was and I went last year in August.

RIO has a great pool area with waterfalls, a man-made beach and 3 whirlpools with waterfalls as well.

Total relaxation !

I split my stay with The Flamingo and the pool was CROWDED but nice nonetheless.

I don%26#39;t know about Monte Carlo, but Flamingo didn%26#39;t seem to have that many kids.

I would best describe The Flamingo as a comfortable hotel where you don%26#39;t have to worry about what you look like.

The Monte Carlo is on my list, but seems a bit more pretentious than Flamingo.
