Direct flights from Milwaukee to Las Vegas???

I thought I read somewhere on this forum there is a direct flight out of Milwaukee Wisc to Las Vegas. If so what airline is this? Thanx.

Thanx Oshkosh, I just left the midwest web site. I was impressed they would only charge an additional $55. per ticket to fly out of G.B. or Appleton to Milw. Granted we would only be in the air 20 minutes to get to Milwaukee but then we don%26#39;t have to drive down there,stay overnite and leave our car etc.

The other airlines tacks on $150. per ticket from G.B. to Chicago. Something to consider. You might have saved us a good chunk of money to spend on the slots or craps!!!

We are flying out of Appleton to Milwaukee, then straight to Vegas. We figure we%26#39;re saving money by flying out of Appleton instead of driving to Milwaukee. No overnight stay, parking or meals that we would pay for if we drove to Milwaukee. We%26#39;re from Menasha and will be leaving in 21 days. Can%26#39;t wait.

If you would have decieded to drive, the four points by sheraton (about 2 mins from the airport) has a sleep and fly package. Its 109.00 for the night and they give you a 20.00 voucher to use on food and drinks at the hotel. You can leave your car for free in their lot for up to 2 weeks. They shuttle you right to your terminal and back again all for 89.00 after the voucher. My friends stay there each time they fly and we are booked in there in Sept. A little vacation before the vacation.

teko, Yup that is exactly what we are thinking. Spare the expense of hotel, parking and just fly out of G.B. or Appleton. We are located in the middle of either airport.

Could I ask what airline you chose? Right now Midwest looks the best of what I found. Thanx

Check out midwest vacations for packages thru midwest - sometimes you practically get hotel for free depending on what you are paying for airfare

Oshkosh, I checked out some of the packages offered with air fare and hotel and saw the savings. Wish we could do this.

Our situation is a little different, our 9 day stay will consist of 4 days at Lake Las Vegas (wedding and reception - 10 to 12 rooms already reserved) then the rest at another hotel (also reserved). We just have to book a flight to get out there and enjoy.

Oshkosh, did I read in a previous posting from you that you were going to Vegas this fall for your wedding? Is your flight already booked for that time? Thanx again for the info.

yes - we are going in October for our wedding - we booked a couple of days ago as i was noticing that flights were going up across the board for our date - midwest is offering a $100 discount on couples going on their honeymoon, so that saved us a little more

so are you also getting married out there?

by the way - have you tried uv cherry and coke - seems to do the trick for me
