Car rental desks in McCarren

Can anyone tell me which rental agencies have desks in McCarren?

Haven%26#39;t rented a car in Vegas in the last five years, and previous to that we rented offsite from Alamo......

TIA

Hertz, Avis, Budget, Alamo, All State, Dollar, National, Save Mor and Thrifty. According to the operator who answered at the airport.

Car rental desks in McCarren

Enterprise is also at the airport -

You do have to take a shuttle to all rental car pick ups at Mc Carren now. They may have counters in the terminal to complete your reservation, but you still take a shuttle to pick up your car.

was there in jan. alamo is offsite.

I know that you stil have to take a shuttle to pick up your car - just that I thought my time would be better spent checking into Bally%26#39;s and picking up our car while we wait for our luggage.

Pretty sure Alamo and National are now one but didn%26#39;t know if Alamo was still offsite...

Thanx for the info, all....

Vegasman is right. We just rented there. They are all there, the desks lined up just past baggage claim, and ALL of them require a quick busride to the rental site which is at the airport but not inside the terminals.

there is also a us-car rental ,has any one every rented from them

Depending what time you%26#39;re arriving, there may or may not be someone at the in-terminal counter, though.

I will be arriving at 12.00 pm are you saying maybe this company is not a good idea have you had dealings with them i%26#39;ts important that we are able to rent a car. do you think i should use another car rental? thanks for any help you can give.

Yule - you should get a car OK, even if you are coming in at midnight. What happens sometimes is that at night nobody%26#39;s working the airport counter and you%26#39;ll see a sign saying to use the shuttle to their remote lot and use the counter there.

I like to check in at the car rental while the baggage is arriving to save some time. There have been a couple times where I saw the dreaded sign and had to go to the remote lot to do the paperwork, etc. This is a pain in the butt but you will still get a car. One time I had to go to Dollar late at night and the wait was about 2 hours at the counter. I said the hell with that and took a cab (and swore never to use Dollar again). Other people have had good luck with Dollar so maybe they were having a bad night.

I don%26#39;t know about US Rent-A-Car but some companies let you skip the counters altogether and just go to your car. I know Hertz does this but you have to join their club which charges a fee.
