To make my wife happy, she needs a lot of sun with a decent pool. How is the stardust pool. Thanks again
VM how is the pool at the 'dust?
From the Stardusts website.
';The Stardust%26#39;s luxurious 2 1/2 acre outdoor recreational complex includes two swimming pools enjoined by neatly manicured tropical gardens. Graceful palm trees enshroud winding promenades that lead to the waterfall spas and Fitness Center.
Terrace Pool
This popular year round gathering place, with its crystal blue waters and spacious sundeck, is an ideal spot to enjoy the balmy desert climate for which Las Vegas is famous. You can cool off with a frosty beverage from the Terrace Bar, which opens on to an awning-shaded poolside sitting area cooled by misters. West Tower and East Tower guests are only a short elevator ride away from this beautifully landscaped enclosure.
Villa Pool
Swimmers love the 100,000-gallon Villa Pool because of its Olympic dimensions. Sunbathers flock to the sprawling emerald-green lawns that surround it. Lanai suites in the buildings that envelop the Villa Pool open directly onto the grounds. Each suite has its own private patio.';
The pool I see is the Terrace pool, it%26#39;s right next to the Terrace Bar and has the lifeguard booth next to it. It%26#39;s a nice big pool surrounded by lots of places to set up a chaise lounge for sunning.
I%26#39;ll try and get a look at the Villa pool and see how it is.

No knock on VM, but now I get it. I guess your able to give your honest opinion about other hotels and attractions, but you really don%26#39;t give your own opinions about the Stardust hotels and attractions. It%26#39;s probably best to leave that to the sales force.
Actually Big, since I only walk past the pool at night when no one%26#39;s around I never give it much of a look or much thought. But, now that I have a request for my opinion here it is. If pool amenities are your major concern, the Stardust is probably not the place for you. The two pools are rather plain by Las Vegas standards. The jacuzzis are real nice, they each sit maybe 20 people comfortably and have small waterfalls flowing into them. And the backs to them are lare man made boulders. Jacuzzis are shaded pretty much all day long.
The pools are large and have a good amount of space around them for sunbathers. But there are no waterfalls in them, no island in the center, no fountains. They are pools, big holes in the ground filled with water where you can swim, float, dip when you get too hot from the sun.
There is a bar close by and they do have a waitress or two that will bring you drinks. But, no swim up 21 or Craps table for gaming. Getting sun will not be a problem here, it%26#39;s getting a little shade that might be a problem. There is one awning over by the Villa pool that will probably get crowded in July and August.
