OK....I%26#39;m a closet Trekkie at heart. Will anyone comment on this place? What do you recommend doing to at this themed attraction? I hear the costumed workers are a riot and you can%26#39;t get them to break out of character.
Wait....is it still there?
Star Trek Experience @ the Hilton?
Yep its still there as of November anyway-I very reluctantly took my hubby there for his birthday present cuz he%26#39;s a dork trek I mean star trek fan too-it was ok-the simulator ride thing was the best part for me-I dont really know any of the history or watch it -but for someone who does I can see how it would be interesting..got the tix on their website-they were abit cheaper than getting them at the door.
Star Trek Experience @ the Hilton?
Everyone I know who loves Star Trek loves the experiece. I%26#39;m not a fan enough to pay money to see it so I sit at Quark%26#39;s Bar %26amp; wait for everyone to finish. I can tell you the drinks there are good, get a Warp Core Breach-the best $60 I%26#39;ve ever spent there it%26#39;s a fishbowl sized rum concoction, just don%26#39;t try to drink it alone. The characters are all over in the gift shops which is a little frightening after some cocktails %26amp; you find yourself with a scary Klingon near......(the planet that%26#39;s next to Neptune).
It was open in January. Its hilarious!! I recommend you see one of the 4D shows. I won%26#39;t say too much cos it will spoil the fun. Also, enjoy shopping on the DS9 promenade and have a drink/meal at Quarks bar. (bit pricey for the quality, but fun)
The musuem is ok, quite small but you%26#39;re right, the characters walking around are excellent. A Borg walked up behind me and I screamed the place down, which got plenty of laughs!!!
They offer photo opportunities either sitting in the Captain%26#39;s chair or in a Borg regeneration chamber. Unless you are a massive fan I would give these a miss. They aren%26#39;t great quality and the process is needlessly long and boring. I think its much better to ask for a piccy with a character using your own camera. Not to be missed, enjoy!!!
';Warp Core Breach-the best $60 I%26#39;ve ever spent';
$60 drink? Wow. I knew things in Vegas were getting expensive but that%26#39;s just nuts!
:)
The drink is meant to be shared by 4+ people. See it here

%26amp; no that is not me.
How much money have I wasted sitting at a blackjack or craps table not wanting to leave until my Goose %26amp; Tonic showed up. Probably a lot more than $60, but it%26#39;s all in the name of supporting the local economy.
Disco, you can also go to www.startrekexp.com for more info on the attactions.
Go! We loved it and highly recommend it tho we did think it overpriced.
Wait, you were serious when you said the drink cost $60?
WOW, $60 for a drink!!!!
And I can%26#39;t get my husband to pay $60 for a show!
Come to think of it though, he MIGHT pay $60 for a drink.:-b
Big nerd I mean Star Trek fan here.... I%26#39;d like to see more comments from people who went! I%26#39;ve never been but plan to go.
How much is it?
Any suggestions/recommendations?
Ok I just looked at the site, and other than the two 4D movies (are these ';ridefilm'; type things or what?) and the bar and gift shops, I%26#39;m wondering what else is available?
Also, the tix seem a little pricey!
