Not sure I understand the question, you can have any room if you are willing to pay for it. If you are talking about a comped room, that is usually settled at check out time by subtracting your earned compliments from the total bill if you ask.

I was offered 2 free nights at the TI which I booked (deluxe room). I%26#39;ve stayed here twice before in a deluxe room -- was wondering if I can pay the difference between what a deluxe room %26#39;normally%26#39; costs and what a suite costs. It would be nice to get a nicer room for cheap... hope this makes sense.

I%26#39;ve already gotten a free upgrade on a comped room @ Caesars. Just asked for it at the airport check in and was pleasantly surprised with the change.
