So when are the ';peak'; periods.......

... and will it be worse this year?

We have had a lot people saying to us that Vegas will be especially busy this year due to its centenary. Probably something that VHM can answer above others; are we less likely to get upgrades this year than any other time or will it just affect certain months?

We are coming over in mid-September to get married.

Cheers

So when are the ';peak'; periods.......

Weekends are almost always busier then midweek. And March-June and September-November are the main tourist seasons. Weather then is the nicest.

So when are the ';peak'; periods.......

LV Groom the easiest way is simply go to any of the Hotels web sites like Monte Carlo, Orleans, etc and look up the rate calander. For example when room rates at MC are $69 the demand is low in LV, versus $479 per night. Weekdays generally are lower than weekends.

Most of the centenary celebrations climax on July 4. Possibly some stuff running through Labor Day (First Monday in September). However, mid-Sept is normally considered the ';shoulder'; season, ramping down from the flood of turistas in the summer. (It spins up again around Thanksgiving weekend.)

Thanks for the responses.

Just one small further questions as my UK diary doesn%26#39;t show US holidays. When is the Thanksgiving weekend?

Thanksgiving Day is Thursday, Nov 24.
