hi guys i have reserved a room for 2 week in september and they have only charged me about 10%when do i pay the rest as there doesnt seem to be an option to pay it all now thanx alot guys.

What you have paid now is probably for your first night. We call it a deposit. It basically holds your room. The rest will not be paid until checkout. Very typical for here in the states.

THey charge one night and have a 48 hr cancellation notice. Don;t cance by then you lose your deposit if you are a no show. That is pretty common in Vegas

Each hotel has their own policy as to when the rest is charged. Some charge the remainder of the balance when you check in. Others will leave the charge open, that way they can add room service, movies, phone calls and gift shop purchases all on the same charge. Hotels that bill the rest when you check in will charge your card again when you leave for all these extras.

Special note about LUXOR - watch the rate on a weekly basis. IF the rate drops, call immediately and tell them you want to cancel and get the new lower rate. Instead of letting you cancel, they will drop the rate to the newly posted rate and refund the difference when you check out. They did this for me recently and I got back about $20 per night over a 3 day stay. LUXOR is a very accomodating property, they are customer focused, their staff is excellent, in this way they are not like the NEW VEGAS, they are more Old World Vegas and they know how to treat you right!

Your question has been answered but just wanted to add that I just returned from Vegas and loved the Luxor.....have a wonderful stay.
