Question for VegasMan

How much do I tip the bouncer to get me and a few friends into a crowded night club in Vegas? A friday or sat night.

And what%26#39;s the most casual way of letting the bouncer know you have the money and want to get in front of the line?

Question for VegasMan

You%26#39;ll have to ask someone that goes to the clubs. But casual is not the way. If you want to offer a bribe, go up and say ';I%26#39;ve got $100 if you let me and my friends go in and find our wives'; ';You guys are married?'; ';No, but we might be by morning if you let us in.'; That always worked when me and my friends watched the doors at the bars in CA while going to school.

Question for VegasMan

Thanks for the quick feedback. As you know, it%26#39;s almost impossible to talk to a bouncer with a huge crowd all around him. Would holding up money work?

Honestly you%26#39;re better off just coughing up the money to get a table. To jump the line at the club is going to cost probably $20 a person. Then there%26#39;s the door fee, another $10 minimum. Add drinks $10 each unless you%26#39;re drinking beer, so maybe $5. Then figure in what you have to buy for girls you meet there. I don%26#39;t know how many people you have with you but to get a table %26amp; 2 bottles would be about $600 total. Plus you look cool so you get chicks....priceless. But that%26#39;s just my advice.

I DO know what it costs and I have greased so many door guys I%26#39;ve lost count. The best idea is to go in small groups. There is no way the bouncer is going to let 5 guys in at a time. Discreetly hold out a $20 so he can see the amount (no more than 2 or 3 guys) and he will let you in. Dress is VERY IMPORTANT - make sure you are dressed to the 9%26#39;s - if you are boderline in appearance for the dress code, no amount is going to get you past the Velvet Ropes!
