NYNY Roller Coaster: more fun during day or night?

Is it more exciting/interesting to go while it%26#39;s light outside or when it%26#39;s dark? I know the roller coasters at Busch Gardens are totally different experience when it%26#39;s dark outside-- Is Vegas the same way even with all the lights?

Never been on the coaster, seeing that it was over an hour wait, but i would definently go at night. I live near cedar point, which is the largest amusement park in the world, with over 19 roller coasters, and night time is always the best! The coaster atop the stratosphere was kinda lame, but the other thing atop of it that shoots ya strait up, is awsome!! We went at night!

I love riding the NY NY coaster at night - coming thru the ';skyscrapers'; and seeing the lights of the Strip is an experience!

What I love most about the Manhattan Express is the $12.50 price. Then I remember for twice that amount I can be at Magic Mountain all day long. And then I think ';What a rip off this ride is';.

I agree VegasMan, a little too pricey. I rode during the day, but I enjoyed it. However if you can make the trip up Strip, go to the Sahara%26#39;s Speed - a little cheaper, but worth the thrill. The Stratosphere is good for it%26#39;s all day ride package, as well.

I haven%26#39;t found this coaster particularly interesting at day or night. If you have to ride it for yourself to see, might as well do it at night. Just be prepared for a real rough ride. Speed at Sahara was a far more satisfying ride for me.
