What a dissapointment was The Mikado at The Mirage. We had a salad that was merely wilted lettuce and ';japanese'; styled salad dressing. The terriyaki chicken was tasteless as was the Tempura that we ordered. The service was also on the level of a fast food joint. We paid $80.00 for a meal that did not taste as good as a frozen dinner. We love The Mirage...why does it allow such a crummy restaurant? (Here%26#39;s a clue that others agree..on a Thursday night, with thousands of people in the hotel, only 20 or so people were in a restaurant that must seat 200 or more. )

Thanks for the warning, we were going to eat there! Can anyone suggest a good Japanese restaurant near The Mirage or central strip? Is Hyakumi at Caesar%26#39;s any better?

Yes, I have heard that the one at Caesars as well at Luxor is good. I havent%26#39; been to either one but have read reviews on both and they have been good.
