Just got back - Monte Carlo

seems my previous post disappeared...



The Monte Carlo was fantastic! Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, the most comfortable beds ever and didn%26#39;t hear a peep despite some reviews that said it was horribly noisy.



We will definitely stay there again!



VegasHomeboy...what do you do there? I%26#39;m sorry if it has been posted previously, but I can%26#39;t remember..

So nice of you to post after your vacation and I%26#39;m glad you had a great time. Sounds like Monte Carlo is wonderful!





Every time there is a MC post, EricD can%26#39;t resist ruining it with a ';noisy'; post. We were so worried early on that we had made a mistake reserving a room there. Fortunately, the majority of posts find MC a fantastic hotel. We can%26#39;t wait.

Very strange things going on with this web site. I seen one post where someone responded to a post and my username showed up somehow. Glitches everywhere. Suggest you chang passwords, could be an attack.





I am a manager there. Sorry but I will not divulge any more info than that.




VHB- As soon as I wrote ';what do you do there';, I thought...he%26#39;s not gonna tell me! Really just wanted to know in what capacity you worked. Anyway - as I said, LOVED the hotel - would highly recommend!!




nmsouthwest...sorry I have the nerve to report what happened during my stay. I have no ax to grind against the MC. I am not trying to ruin your little MC love-fest, I assure you. GO and have fun. When we stayed there, we did have fun. My only point is that it is not up to the standards of the top LV hotels.

All you are doing is expressing your opinion of the MC in response to the questions being posed. I see nothing wrong in that at all. Others are equally at liberty to express their views both positive and negative. As you have also said, despite the problems, you had a good time.





I guess the bottom line for you is that you won%26#39;t stop there again because of the problems you experienced. I would be exactly the same - why give somewhere a second chance if there are alternatives available?

Did you try to get an Upgraded Room?


What did they say?


I%26#39;m going in May and was wondring how did you find the check-in staff.


Did you check-in early or late?

We didn%26#39;t ask for an upgrade, as I figured the standard rooms would probably be fine (and they were). We checked in about 4:30 or so, just said ';can we have a nice room?'; The check in staff was nice, it was very quick and it was a holiday weekend.



Check out was great. I just don%26#39;t have any complaints, except for my losses, which were my own fault. I wish we had gone when the weather was nicer as I would%26#39;ve like to have enjoyed the pool.



No, it%26#39;s not the Bellagio, but I didn%26#39;t want the Bellagio nor to have to pay that kind of money. I will be anxious to hear what you think after your visit!
