Hotel Pools

Going to Vegas in April...any advice on the best hotels with the nicest pool areas for adults????

Hotel Pools

All depends on what you like in a pool. Mandalay and Monte Carlo have wave pools. Kind of like being in the ocean, but with cleaner water. MGM and Monte Carlo have Lazy rivers. Grab a float and go round and round in circles. Mandalay and Caesar%26#39;s Palace have European Style bathing areas. Women are allowed to go topless. Flamingo, Mirage and Rio%26#39;s pools have waterfalls. Hard Rock and Palms pools are reported to have the best looking 20 somethings hanging around.

Hotel Pools

I just returned from the hard rock. they have a very nice pool area if your goal is lounging / sunbathing / ';shopping';: it%26#39;s several shallow pools connected by ';rivers';. Lots of hot tubs, etc.

None of their pool are appropriate if you want to do more athletic-oriented swimming or diving though.

Just returned from Mirage--great pool area, great place to stay.

I didn%26#39;t see any kids at the pool, but it%26#39;s still early in the season.

The pool area is tropical, with lots of palms to provide shade if you need it, and some quieter places with some chairs away from the pool. Good music, great service. There was a small area roped of for lap swimming, if you%26#39;re interested (I don%26#39;t know if they do that all the time). Pretty water falls, and even a slide (not open yet).

If you%26#39;re looking for an area tyke-free, one of the European areas VegasMan mentioned at CP or MB is the only way to guarntee it. I read somewhere there is an additional charge for the area to keep the gawkers at a minimum. Of these two properties, I%26#39;d take Caesars everytime.

Another option for a more adult pool area is Hard Rock (think bikinis and stilettos) or Bellagio (low key, garden like area)--two very different places. You may find some kids at Bellagio, but I would think they%26#39;d be few and far between at the HRH.

Keep in mind that generally the more exciting the pool area, the more crowded it can be.
