Zephyr Cove has some a bunch of lakeside cabins for rent in South Lake Tahoe. They also offer boat trips, snowmobiles and horseback riding (summer).

When are you going and what do the kids like to do, how much do you want to spend?

We have always stayed on the west side and enjoyed beaches like Meeks Bay and Chambers Landing. We have access to a boat so we take trips to beaches on the Nevada side and into Emerald Bay. We stay away from south shore as we are not interested in vacationing with so many people. We like Sand Harbor but it%26#39;s important to avoid some areas on weekends as the traffic can be murder in some places. Since road work can only be performed during the warm months you may run into delays when you drive into certain areas.
