Would anyone know roughly how long it would take to get here from the strip?

I%26#39;ve been to the Orleans. I%26#39;ve walked past Brendan%26#39;s when I was there. If you%26#39;re renting a car, please don%26#39;t drive after visiting this or any other pub. Take the free shuttle from the Barbary Coast. They drop you off at the Valet Entrance. Go past the slot machines to just after the Alligator Bar, Turn left and go to the end of the Dice tables. Turn right and go past the Mardi Gras Bar. Brendan%26#39;s will be on the left before you reach the French Market Buffet.

Been their a few times, great place to drink. Live bands at 8PM. From strip..depends on where u are at. 5 minutes from Tropicana.

If the traffic is bad on Tropicana it can take a while to get there - the five minutes is probably about right but in heavy traffic that could triple easily.

I didn%26#39;t care much for Brendan%26#39;s - I like Irish music and found little of it there. During the day it%26#39;s mostly rock playing. At night there is live music which may or may not be Irish influenced. I enjoyed the band at Nine Fine Irishmen at NYNY better - it%26#39;s heavily ';vegas-ized'; and is mostly traditional Irish played more in a modern style.

I was their in 12/04 and it was very irish as well as the band from ireland. I can%26#39;t remember their name The celtics.. I guess.

was thinking of taxi but free shuttle sounds better!

Ismokealotta - you%26#39;re probably thinking of the Wild Celts. When I%26#39;ve heard them about half their repertoire was Irish, the rest more rock. But in fairness most people going to bars probably don%26#39;t want to hear real Irish stuff anyway and couldn%26#39;t tell if it%26#39;s authentic or not.

Where is a good spot in vegas for irish music? The real stuff?

I';d settle for a good Irish Pub with a good Irish Jukebox !!!
