Had a great trip March 6-10.
Stayed at Paris. We were pleased with the hotel. Be sure to take your confirmation that shows the prices. We originally booked at $119/night on the Paris web site. Eventually noticed $109/night on their site so called and was told they would honor that price. Checked in at the airport and confirmed the $109/nite rate. Looked on the TV at our bill and was being charged $149/night, after the first night. Had to go thru several people and about 30 minutes on the phone to get it corrected. Was a really big hassle! Be sure to do the airport check in! Glad we did as the line at the hotel was very, very long! Also checked out on the TV. If you ask, they will also give you a 1 p.m. complimentry check out time. Had the bell captain hold our bags until we needed them for our late flight.
We loved Le Cafe in the Paris. Had really good meals there. Had the breakfast buffet our last morning. The food was excellent! This is also where we met the rudest person in Las Vegas...Tricia, a hostess there. Beware!!! Be sure to eat at The Cheese Cake Factory in Ceaser%26#39;s Palace. The food was wonderful and the cheese cake is to die for! We also enjoyed the food at Garduno%26#39;s at The Palms. It was worth the cab ride over there.
We saw Mama Mia at Mandalay Bay, loved it, really fun and
worth the money. Bought the %26#39;cheap seats%26#39; but they were still
really good seats. Also saw %26#39;O%26#39; at Bellagio one night, it too was a great show. Wow! Wanted to see a Las Vegas show girl show so opted for Jubilee. It stunk!!! I mean we hated it. What a waste of money. Can only say thank goodness we had discount tickets. Even at that, spent way more than it was worth! Took the Hoover Dam tour and had lots of fun. They picked us up at our hotel and dropped us back off. The tour was interesting, included a buffet lunch, and a tour of Ethel M%26#39;s chocolate factory. Not bad at all for $30. It was worth it. Ethel M%26#39;s chocolate is wonderful! Met really nice people on the tour...hello Steve (Pittsburgh), Patty and Brian (Orlando).
Our favorite shopping was at The Aladdin. Lot%26#39;s of neat, affordable shopping. On our last day we went back over to waste time before going to the airport. We each opened oysters at The Pearl Factory. It was so much fun! We all found really nice pearls and had them set as a reminder of our trip.
None of us are gamblers...didn%26#39;t bet one penny. There is so much to do and see. Most of all....take comfortable shoes!!! We literally walked miles each day. Great shopping and really fun people watching! We can%26#39;t wait to return!

Great review! Thanks!
Who did you book the Hoover Dam tour through? Thinking of doing the same when we go.
Just Returned Home
Sorry but none of us can remember the name of the company with whom booked the Hoover Dam tour. It was in an ad provided by the Paris Hotel upon check-in. There was a 1/2 day tour or full day. We took the full day that included a couple of hours a the dam, a meal, a tour thru Ethel M Chocolate factory, and pointed out celebrity homes. I know the company also had Grand Canyon tours by plane.
When i did the ';Tour thing';
it was handled by Grey Line Tours.
I did the Hover dam tour that also stopped off at
Ethel M%26#39;s. I agree its worth it.
Ive noticed that there is a company that does a
Helocopter tour. Has anyone done that and if so
what are your comments.
