A couple of times when staying on the Strip, Security have opened the door to my room and yelled out Security, had a quick look and left. This has been around 5am.
Is it just me? Or a standard Vegas welcome?

In room Security Check
I would certainly hope not, we%26#39;re going to Vegas for our first time next month for 2 days. If anyone opens my door at 5am I%26#39;ll be extremely annoyed.
In room Security Check
I think that was a special treat JUST for you. This is NOT a standard offering.
Something is strange with that and I would certainly complain. Also, don%26#39;t you use the security chain?
i doubt that this ever happened. You must have been dreaming. Where you drinking heavy the night before?
I agree with v-happy......either that or if you were with friends, they were trying to be funny. Use your security chain!
The NYNY used to do it at 3pm..but was never in my room to confirm it...and I really don%26#39;t know if they still do that. It was posted somewhere in the room I can%26#39;t remember where...
We don%26#39;t send our security (or anyone for that matter) to rooms at 5 a.m. without cause - And if we did, first you would have two warnings before the door is unlocked and we enter - and this would only be in an emergency.
Sounds like a wierd, alcohol impaired dream to me.
