We want to make the rounds. Can we just wear shorts?

Two couples in mid 40%26#39;s from KS. We will be there Apr.9-12. We are renting a vehicle and was wondering what we could do to get the biggest bang for our buck. We are staying at the orleans and would like to see a show or two plus have some good steak %26amp; seafood but we want to wear our shorts. Nice shorts with polo%26#39;s and tennis shoes. Is that ok or do we need to wear something else?

What shows %26amp; food places do you suggest?

Shorts are fine, we are going April11-15th and plan on bringing pretty much what we wore last year, shorts, maybe 2 pr jeans and t-shirts and capri pants...

it was totally fine, i think it was even warm enough last yr we wore shorts and went swimming..

We plan on visiting ellis island this year and some other places we dint see last year, to eat, there are a lot of threads on here about various places.

YES - of course you can wear shorts, most people in LV do

There is plenty of great food in Orleans

For a cheap show i recommend Midnight Fantasy, i%26#39;ve seen it 3 times

for a cheap brkfst - Orleans or Monte Carlo buffet

Bang for the buck- Dinner at Bellagio buffet - around $28 but the very very best of Vegas

Wear whatever you want, no dress codes except night clubs to keep rift-raff out. Only requirement is a wallet.

Didn%26#39;t finnish reading the whole post. Best steak and seafood is at CC Steakhouse, very reasonable prices, voted best in LV for 13-years straight.

What do you mean by good steak %26amp; seafood? If you want to go to the steakhouses at the better casinos, you might need slacks. I%26#39;d bring at least one pair of slacks and loafers and call your restaurant to find out if they have a dress code. Pretty sure that a polo will be OK just about anywhere.

Polo shorts are fine in Las Vegas - even in most restaurants. As for shows - depends on what you like and when you are arriving. Have you checked to see who%26#39;s playing at the Orleans?? They have some great concerts at VERY reasonable rates. Being in your 40%26#39;s like myself - Orleans has concerts that fit our age -

My wife said she checked the orleans and here ws nobody there. Now that you mention it, I wonder if she meant ';nobody she liked would be there';. Hmmmm

It would be great to see a group preform some of the good %26#39;ol music.
