Hi, I was wondering if any of the Las Vegas Strip hotels have balconies?

I don%26#39;t believe you will find a balcony that opens from your room unless you have a penthouse suite - we found when people lose their money gambling - they tend to have suicidal thoughts, so we decided against giving them the platform to perform from. ;-)

The Imperial Palace rooms have balconies with great views of the strip.

Well, I guess you now know I don%26#39;t work at the IP ;-) Nor do I visit it as I do many others.....

Against our better judgment we stayed at IP in a balcony room last july. Room was way cheap and we thought we could deal with it for a few nights. (bad thinking)

OK bear with me its a little bit of a long story but it%26#39;s funny now.

We settled into our room, i decided to take a shower. My wife was on the balcony with the sliding door open when i got out. She was listning to the band in Harras carnival court. I walked onto the balcony with her to check it out and shut the slider(108 degrees outside). When i shut the door i heard a click and knew what i thought happened couldn%26#39;t of possibly happened. You guessed it...Locked on the balcony in my underwear with my wife on the 18th floor. It was only 108 outside. It took 45 minutes of whistling to catch someones attention then security finaly let us back in the room after about an hour. When we got back in the room and pulled the door shut from behind the curtains a little sign was taped to the inside of the door and this is what it said'; DO NOT CLOSE THE DOOR WHEN ON THE BALCONY IT MAY LOCK UNEXPECTEDLY'; . Why i have no clue. Do they think spiderman is going to scale the building and come in?

Talked to the front desk manager he more or less said ';cant you read'; and didn%26#39;t even offer us a free drink.

It wasn%26#39;t funny when it happened, but we get a kick out of it now.
