City Bus Service to downtown from strip? Monorail working?

Is there fairly easy city bus service from the strip to downtown? Also- we will be staying at the Orleans where they have a shuttle. However, I thought I saw somewhere that there is also a city bus stop across the street from the Orleans that could also take you to the strip- is this true?

And is the monorail now up and running consistently?

301 and 302 bus service downtown and the strip. Monorail is up and running. IMO the monorail isn%26#39;t that great of a service due to the long walf from the strip and back.

You can find schedules and rates by Google ';las vegas CAT'; and ';las vegas monorail';. Basically every ten minutes.
